At the end of Prohibition, an ex-bootlegger (Edward G. Robinson) discovers that, though he is innocent of murder, his house is full of his rivals' corpses.

Funny, frantic farce, now unjustly forgotten. Robinson parodies some of his former roles, and shows a surprising talent for comedy. Poorly remade as Stop, You're Killing Me (1953), starring Broderick Crawford.
