Two physically identical young women (both played by Mary Pickford, pictured in both roles) fall for the same married man. One, Stella Maris, is disabled. She has been adopted by a rich family that has protected her fom the harsher sides of life. They shield her from the harsh realities of the world, so that she has no idea of the cruel things that some people do. The other, Unity Blake, is a poor orphan.

Weepie melodrama which gives Mary Pickford plenty of pathetic scope. Laughably dated and unsophisticated to modern eyes, though the cinematography still looks above average.
