Thief (Douglas Fairbanks) outwits Caliph with magic.

This Thief is well worth catching: Douglas Fairbanks excels in the most action-packed and lavish of all silent adventures, imaginatively designed by William Cameron Menzies. The story gallops along, enlivened by special effects which must have seemed very impressive at the time. The new soundtrack is by Carl Davis, based on themes by Rimsky-Korsakov.
