Ghost terrorizes couple who buy house on Cornish coast.

One of the cinema’s great ghost stories, all the better for leaving much to the audience’s imagination. The screenplay adeptly mixes in humorous relief, without in the least diminishing some truly terrifying sequences. The outstanding, Oscar-nominated cinematography is by Charles Lang.
