It's really useless. Fans of the original will be dismayed to hear that the Fat Controller has been deemed politically incorrect and banished to oblivion. Just as regrettable is the attempt to combine third-rate animation with tenth-rate live action. Alec Baldwin (pictured) and Peter Fonda leer uncomfortably in thankless grown-up roles, as though sentenced to appear in a kids' movie for hideous crimes committed in their youth. Even very small children are unlikely to be charmed or understand much of what is going on.
