Eleven scenes, filmed over many years, in which actor friends of Jarmusch perform scenes of very uneven quality.

Roberto Benigni and Steven Wright get this off to a boring start, which unfortunately sets the tone for much of the following picture. If ever there was a film in which your finger will be itching for the fast-forward button, this is it. Ignore the dross, and the scenes betwen Alfred Molina (pictured left) and Steve Coogan (right), Cate Blanchett and herself (a minor acting tour de force), and Tom Waits and Iggy Pop are worth seeing. Not much else is. Jarmusch can do better than this, and I must admit I find his particular brand of cool hip detachment tiresomely affected.
