Various disasters befall a new high-speed bus.

Reviewed by Chris Tookey

This fast-moving parody of disaster movie cliches is very hit-and-miss (the script is a lot more inventive than the direction) but if you're in the mood it has moments of high comic lunacy. Joseph Bologna is amusing as the bus-driver, and Stockard Channing delightful as his bemused girlfriend; but the film is stolen by Murphy Dunne, as the cocktail pianist from Hell. Well worth catching, especially if you liked Airplane! and the Naked Gun movies.
