All you really need to know about this godforsaken mixture of live action humans with animated rabbits is that its brought to you by the same geniuses who gave us Alvin and the Chipmunks.
Poor hapless James Marsden gurns and prat-falls his way through this excellent argument for myxomatosis as hes recruited to become the new Easter Bunny, in place of the old EBs son, who wants to be a rock drummer.
The abject script is a hackneyed rip-off of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and, unaccountably, Alvin and the Chipmunks 2: The Squeakquel. The central playboy bunny is voiced by Russell Brand with all the charm of a dead rodent in a swimming pool.
Didnt Easter use to have some kind of religious significance? Here, its any notion of family entertainment that is crucified.
