An aristocrat (Douglas Fairbanks) avenges the death of his father at the hands of pirates.
Reviewed by Chris Tookey

Action-packed silent swashbuckler, the best pirate film of its time - despite a few longueurs - and much imitated since. One of the earliest movies to be in colour, though the two-tone process means that only some colours are represented. Some prints today are in black and white.
