A jewel thief (Marlene Dietrich, pictured right) uses an innocent young man (Gary Coooper, pictured left) to smuggle her ill-gotten gains through customs.

Stylish Hollywood hokum of its period, very much in the style of its producer (Ernst Lubitsch). The Paramount art department is on top form, Dietrich is at her loveliest, and there are pleasantly playful love scenes between her and Cooper. However, the plot runs badly out of steam.
