A stranger arrives in a Mexican border town, and he doesn't seem to have a sunny disposition.

A charismatic young Clint Eastwood (picturd right) impersonates The Man With No Name - and precious little dialogue - in Sergio Leone’s violent, influential, spaghetti western. Loathed by the critics, loved by the masses. Leone made two sequels, For A Few Dollars More and The Good, The Bad And The Ugly. Walter Hill updated the movie to the Prohibition era, in Last Man Standing (1996).
"[The Man With No Name is] the kind of anti-hero who does what everybody would secretly like to do... a kind of Bogart in the saddle - who is not afraid to be himself, good or bad."
(Clint Eastwood)
