Mary Astor
Actress, Beau Brummell (1924)
The direction is not what it might have been, and the casting is also somewhat faulty. Irene Rich as the Duchess of York would have undoubtedly made a much better Lady Margery than Mary Astor, who played it. Although Astor is seen to advantage from the standpoint of beauty, she does not display any great histrionic ability.
