Troy Donahue
Actor, A Summer Place (1959)
The first of several Warner Bros. weepies featuring Mr Troy Donahue. Though he eventually grew into characters of college age and beyond, they never seemed to get much more mature, or emotional, than his classic Johnny. Through such twaddle as Parrish, Rome Adventure, and Susan Slade, Donahue newver did learn to inflect a line of dialogue, or even smile like he meant it.
