Richard E. Grant
Richard E. Grant looks rather like one of those balloons you get from the National Gallery of Munchís The Scream, after itís burst.
(Deborah Ross)
Actor, The Match (1999)
The whole thing is amateurish, from barmaid Samantha Fox's not entirely convincing performance as a feisty Scottish feminist through to Richard E. Grant as the villainous proprietor of the local wine bar, which he plays as though auditioning to play The Wicked Witch of the West in a gay panto. Little of the plot makes sense, especially Grant's determination to alienate everyone who might conceivably attend his establishment - except, I suppose, connoisseurs of terrible acting.
