Joey Heatherton
Actress, Bluebeard (1972)
Director Edward Dmytryk, in his autobiography put the blame for this all-star fiasco squarely on Richard Burton's daily drinking but we suspect otherwise: anyone trying to act the script that Dmytryk co-authored needed a stiff drink, and more than a few if expected to perform opposite Joey Heatherton. Despite the film's period setting, Heatherton is not only wearing the shag hairdo of the day and white lipstick left over from the 60s, but she also earns the singular distinction of being Burton's worst ever co-star (in a career that includes Joan Collins, Linda Evans and in this very film, Raquel Welch).
