  Very Bad Things (1998)

The mean-spirited attitude which the film has towards its characters - in combination with the gruesome murders, the boorish men and the whiny women (even Cameron Diaz is ghastly) - make for a dispiriting 100 minutes. Three of the partygoers end up brutally murdered (along with one of their wives). Another is reduced to being a tetraplegic mute. The other becomes a double amputee. Even the family dog loses a leg. If you think all of that's funny, then you are the target audience for this movie. But I think you may need help.
