Blue Meanies attack the happy kingdom of Pepperland.

Though the sappy, "All You Need Is Love" message has dated, this remains a classic cartoon - a high-spirited romp with a uniquely surreal visual style, an onslaught of visual puns, and a great soundtrack. Highlights include Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds and Eleanor Rigby. The appearance of the real Beatles at the end is an anti-climax.
