| Thoroughly entertaining comedy, in which Tom Hanks gave a charming performance - but so did Elizabeth Perkins as the career-woman attracted to him, and Robert Loggia as his boss. Director Penny Marshall showed a good deal of unpretentious flair. This was the best of a number of 80s movies which mysteriously seized upon the same theme: Like Father Like Son (1987), 18 Again (1988), and Vice Versa (1988). |
