| The debut of 30 year-old director Wayne Coe. The tales have an enjoyably macabre flavour, and almost live up to Jones's boast that they'll 'stick to you like an eyeball on a cactus needle'. The promising aspects are the neat visual style, a genuine interest in storytelling, and the refreshing absence of film-school pretentiousness. |
