| A terrific adventure for all ages, featuring harpies, a seven-headed hydra, duelling skeletons and other phenomena. It boasts some of the greatest stop-motion animation in screen history (by courtesy of Ray Harryhausen) and a surprisingly intelligent script. Almost universally panned on release, it is now recognized as a classic of its kind. |
