Boy who refuses to grow up leads three London children - Wendy, Michael, and John Darling - to Neverland, in order to do fight Captain Hook and his pirates.

Peter Pan's American accent, the over-broad slapstick and Disney-style sentimentality are unlikely to appeal to anyone familiar with the original book, while the stereotypical Indians won't find favour with the politically correct. The story sags, too. Even so, the film has a few magical moments - especially the flying sequences, and all the episodes involving Hook and the ticking crocodile. Disappointingly, the song Never Smile at a Crocodile is not included, though the tune can be heard as part of the underscore.
