A Night At The Roxbury (1998)

Let's look at the bright side. America is still the land of opportunity if Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan can make a movie. At the very least, A Night at the Roxbury will encourage new talent. Hundreds of thousands will see it this weekend and walk out saying, ‘I could do better than that’. They'll be right. One could criticize A Night at the Roxbury for being a comedy that provides not a single laugh. That would be too easy. Better we should broaden our aesthetic and praise the film for subtly letting us know that it's a comedy without resorting to anything as vulgar and obvious as a joke.
